ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sheryl Riley Gripper is a spiritual writer and producer. As CEO of Rosey Posey Pictures, she has made media to inspire since 2013. She produced the experimental short, “In the Last Days” and the documentary short, “I Didn’t Make Him, God Did.”

A multi-Emmy Award winner, Gripper is listed in The History Makers, an organization that profiles African Americans who have influenced history. She was the first female Vice President of WXIA-TV, an NBC affiliate where she was Community Affairs Vice President for 29 years. She is also the founder of the Black Women Film Network, an organization devoted to helping women of color.

A graduate of Spelman College and Georgia State University, she holds Masters Degrees in Education and Film/Communications. The mother of three, she is the wife of Jeff Gripper, Atlanta’s First World karate Champion. As a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta, she serves on the Intercessory Prayer and Encouragers ministries. She and her husband Jeff have hosted the 2nd Tuesday Prayer Group for 24 years.
